It's so crazy that just on the top floor of Nordstrom, there's a super fancy restaurant. I remember walking in and barely even remembering that I in a Nordstrom. When I dropped by for lunch yesterday, there wasn't any wait, but it got busy right about the time my food came. There's quite a bit of seating in the restaurant, and we were able to get a booth seat. The staff was nice, and very professionally dressed. I was honestly so surprised by the quality of the food, and how tasty everything was! Terrible for my diet that I've found this place.
We ordered:
-soup of the day (I think it was chicken tomatillo)
-crab, mango, avocado salad
-baby gem caesar salad
-lobster mac n cheese
-margherita pizza
And ALL of it was fantastic. The soup was flavourful and came with some garlic bread to dip it in. The crab, mango, avocado salad was something I'd never had before, but the three different flavours, along with the arugula and the salad dressing made for a tasty combination. The lobster mac n cheese was rich tasty, but also very hearty (and probably not good if you're dieting). It also comes with a side salad, which was a nice touch. For the caesar salad and the margherita pizza...those are basically what you'd expect, but still so tasty. I'd highly recommend this place! -

An easy go to spot for lunch but def not something I'd go out of my way for. Usually when I'm shopping at Nordstrom, I'd pop by. There's usually no wait and it's easy to sit at the bar and get a quick quiet bite away from the mall ruckus.
Place is a good size, menu has a variety of options from pizzas to salads, simple apps to full on chicken & steak entrees. Service has always been super nice and fast.
Food talk:
(1) Crab bisque - actually really enjoyed this soup! There's def. little to no crab meat in it, but there is still a nice crab taste. Also nice light creaminess & always piping hot + the small super crispy baguette is bomb!!!
(2) French onion soup - just OK & prob. wouldn't order again. The cheese topping was tasty and perfectly gooey, but overall the soup was just too salty.
(3) Margherita pizza - more like a flatbread to me than an actual pizza, simple and fair in taste. Would order again.
(4) Nicoise salmon salad - one of my favorite salads here. The salmon was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Vinaigrette dressing was light & refreshing, while eggs & potatoes added extra flavah and texture.
(5) Pan roasted chicken - the texture was amazing, super crispy on the outside while still juicy on the inside. BUT sadly the chicken lacked any flavor and or seasoning overall. That butter on top was good but it def. needed to be doused or simmering in it for a while. Fries were tasty BUT THAT FN PURPLE DIPPING SAUCE - idk wth it is but it's freakn amazing! -

This restaurant was exactly what I expected. Comfortable and mildly stylish, it's a pleasant place to and have a nice little lunch. The food is rather corporate.
I had a cup of lobster bisque and the steak frites. I wouldn't recommend the bisque, it was bland and if you asked me what kind of bisque it was I couldn't tell by tasting it.
The steak was OK, slightly overdone but tender and nicely grilled. The fries were nice and thin and crisp and I liked the Kalamata aoili it came with. I tasted my wife's salmon dish and it was ok.
I would step in here for a salad or burger if was already at the mall but Bazille is certainly not going to be a destination. -

Always a lovely stop for lunch here. I've been coming here since it 1st opened many moons ago and muchos dineros spent ago...a lot of changes over the years; from the decor, to the multiple different menus, the entire restaurant seating layouts, to the ordering process, but the food remained delicious no matter what you order. I've always been very impressed with how they keep their amazing dishes and the level of consistency! The service is always above par!
Our last Sunday visit, the prawn salad (I've had this so many times) was exactly the same delicious flavor as the previous ones.. their cheese burger (I usually don't order this) we ordered was super delicious and flavorful! Of course a nice perfectly chilled chard goes hand in hand with this yet again great lunch. -

French Onion Soup $8.50: I consider this pretty filling, and would probably skip getting an entree if I had this to myself. The broth was really flavorful, not too sweet. I'd place this in my top 3 French Onion soups.
Prosciutto & Arugula Pizza $13.75: The prosciutto was good, but that's about it. The cheese was hardened so I didn't enjoy the texture of the pizza. I'd skip on this in the future.
Fries & Kalamata Aioli: I love this aioli. It's one of the best dipping sauces for fries I've ever had. I was prepared to order just a side of fries, but luckily for me, my dad's entree came with fries (because I overruled his original choice of salad) so I just stole some of his.
Amelia $13: A really tasty, fruity cocktail. I order this every time.
Bread Pudding: My favorite bread pudding anywhere! It's not sickly sweet, and the raspberry and white chocolate sauces compliment it well. I didn't get the price because I didn't even ask to see the dessert menu. This is my one and only choice.
